Dr. Jeremy Banik

Vice President, Spacecraft Programs. Jeremy has spent almost 20 years in Federal Civil Service directing multiple successful space initiatives within the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). At the NRO as Deputy Director of a Program Office, he drove strategies to deliver emerging commercial remote sensing data into the hands of intelligence and defense users, thousands of images each day.  Prior to the NRO, Jeremy served as the Chief Engineer for the DARPA Blackjack Program, developing commercial proliferated low-earth-orbit constellations for defense use. While at AFRL, he developed and transitioned multiple space technologies to operational use. He holds 6 US patents, a PhD in Engineering from the University of New Mexico, and an M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
